This manipulative provides opportunities to:
View multiple representations of a quanitity with the number, ten frame, plave value cards, and objects
Limit the values that can be explored, choosing either 0-10 or 0-20
Remove supports in the "lab" version where work is in a more free-form setting with the option to use ten-frames or create equations/inequalities with number tiles
PhET also provides translated versions of the simulation in multiple languages, teacher created activities, and with a free account you can access their teaching resources.
